The resulting heavy flood proved catastrophic, leading to a vehicle loaded with foodstuffs (Garri, Elubo and others) plunging off the compromised structure.
While details on casualties are still emerging, the incident underscores the extreme danger posed by the bridge’s current state.All motorists and passengers travelling between Igboora and Idere are urged to exercise EXTREME CAUTION when approaching this bridge and other spots.
