The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke, has reinforced his administration’s commitment to grassroots economic development with a significant empowerment initiative for the Ifesowapo Barbers’ Association. The support, delivered at the association’s anniversary celebration, included modern barbering equipment and a substantial cash donation to bolster their operations.

The event, held at the Atunise Barber Hall, was filled with excitement as barbers from across the communities celebrated the Chairman’s tangible support for their trade.
In his message made available by his personal assistant, Azeez Sodiq during the presentation, Hon. Adeleke emphasized that the initiative is a key part of his broader agenda to foster small business growth, enhance vocational skills, and promote sustainable self-reliance within Ibarapa Central.
“This is just the beginning,” stated Hon. Adeleke. “Our goal is to ensure that every hard-working artisan, youth, and small business owner feels the direct impact of this administration. More empowerment programs are on the way to stimulate our local economy and uplift our people.”
The Chairman of the Ifesowapo Barbers’ Association, Mr. Seun Olanrewaju, expressed profound gratitude on behalf of the members. He praised Hon. Adeleke for being a leader true to his word.
“Hon. Adeleke promised us his support, and today, he has delivered,” said Mr. Olanrewaju. “This is the kind of leadership we need—one that listens, responds, and actively invests in the people. This empowerment will significantly boost our productivity and elevate the standard of our services throughout the community.”
This empowerment program further solidifies Hon. Olusola Adeleke’s reputation as a hands-on leader dedicated to practical development, human capital investment, and the sustained growth of artisans and small-scale entrepreneurs in Ibarapa Central.
