In commemoration of International Youth Day 2025, Ibarapa-born legal luminary and stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Barrister Opeyemi Tijani (BOT), has extended heartfelt felicitations to Nigerian youths, commending their resilience, creativity, and unyielding spirit in the face of challenges.
Speaking in his goodwill message, BOT described Nigerian youths as the engine room of the nation’s development, noting that their energy, innovation, and courage remain critical to building the Nigeria of our dreams.
“Our youths are the heartbeat of this nation. From the bustling streets of Ibadan to the tech hubs of Lagos, from the farmlands of Ibarapa to the creative spaces across the country, you have continued to show the world that Nigeria is blessed with immense talent and boundless potential,” Barr Tijani remarked.
He urged young Nigerians to remain steadfast in the pursuit of excellence, integrity, and patriotism, adding that the future belongs to those who are prepared to work hard and think boldly. Barr Tijani emphasized that while the challenges confronting the youth may be daunting, they also present opportunities for innovation, leadership, and transformative change.
The APC chieftain also called on government at all levels to create enabling environments where youth-driven ideas can thrive, assuring that he will continue to advocate for policies that empower the younger generation in education, entrepreneurship, and leadership development.
“International Youth Day is not just a celebration—it is a reminder that the dreams of our youths are the dreams of our nation. Let us keep hope alive, stay united, and never lose sight of the brighter tomorrow we all aspire to,” he added.
Barrister Opeyemi Tijani concluded with a charge to Nigerian youths to rise above divisions, embrace innovation, and be the change agents that will redefine the country’s socio-economic and political landscape.
