The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) today announced the commencement of the 2025 Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise nationwide, enabling eligible Nigerians to register or update their voter information ahead of forthcoming elections.
🔹ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION Starting Monday, August 18, 2025, citizens can begin registration online via: OFFICIAL PORTAL http://www.cvr.inecnigeria.org
This streamlined digital process allows Nigerians to pre-register or update details from any location before completing verification in person.
🔹 IN-PERSON REGISTRATION From Monday, August 25, 2025, physical registration will be available at:
– All 774 INEC Local Government Area (LGA) Offices.
– Designated Registration Centers Nationwide.
⏰ Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
Citizens must finalize online pre-registrations in person at these centers. New registrants must appear physically with valid identification.
